When we create your website, all the files, pictures, sounds, and other content exist on the computer in our office. 

In order for the world to be able to access those files, we have to upload them to a special computer, called a web server.  We say that the web server "hosts" your website.

The hosting service - the company that owns and maintains the web servers - charges you a monthly fee for the use of their web servers.

Emcie Media does not own or operate hosting servers.  That's not the business we want to be in.  But we have experience in server administration, so we have the expertise and knowledge you need to help you choose a great service at a great price.
