Our Lead Designer Our lead designer, Marianne Carlson, graduated Summa cum Laude in 1997 from the University of Maryland (European Division) with a BS in Information Systems Management. Since then, she has managed a diverse career in Information Technology and Web Design. She served as the Computer Support and Training Coordinator for the Vermont Judiciary, then took a position with the US Army in Germany, where she worked as a Computer Specialist. |

Returning to America, Marianne remained with the Army, working as a Web Designer at the US Military Academy at West Point. Marianne's career as a US Army Civilian was highlighted by a six-month deployment to Iraq in 2003, where she served as the IT Security Officer for a unit of over 20,000 soldiers, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Our CEO Don Carlson served in the US Air Force from 1968 until 1972n and graduated from Purdue University in 1976 with a BS in Public Administration. For 30 years, Don worked for the US Defense Department in Contract Administration, servicing contracts in over a dozen countries on three continents. Don’s work with the Defense Department brought him into the business environments of dozens of businesses ranging from sole proprietorships to multi-national corporations and Fortune 500 companies. He has owned his own Government Contracting business and is now CEO and CFO of Emcie Media. |
